    Bruno B. Rossi (April 13, 1905 – November 21, 1993) was a leading Italy-United States experimental physics. He made major contributions to cosmic ray and particle physics from 1930 through the 1950s, and pioneered X-ray astronomy and space Plasma (physics) physics in the 1960s. Rossi was born in Venice.
